A rolling suitcase fittingly sits next to the office desk of Brenda Hall, CEO of Bridge360 Inc. Hall travels a lot, but the suitcase isn't for clothes - it's just for her electronic devices such as laptops, an iPad and electronic book readers. A voracious and enthusiastic reader, she owns three Kindles and an iPad to help feed her addiction.

Hall, a native New Yorker who started as an assistant stenographer for IBM Corp., founded Bridge360 in 2001. She sold her classic car collection of 1966 and 1967 Dodge Chargers to start a business that develops custom software for other companies. A photo of one of the cars remains in Hall's office.

of the largest local women-owned businesses for 2011 includes Bridge360

The list, which appeared exclusively in the July 15 print edition on page B14, is ranked by 2010 gross revenue. Austin Ribbon & Computer topped the list. Bridge360 ranked number 37. Bridge360's CEO, Brenda Hall, sites Bridge360's dedication to delivering quality software, anywhere and its commitment to customer service as a key factor in its growth. "We'll be moving to a new location in 2011 to accommodate the current team of software specialists and those who will join us in Q3 & Q4," says Hall.

The Austin Business Journal prints lists on different industries weekly. The women-owned business list ranks 50 companies and includes information on number of employees, locations and executives, among other information.
